The Milbank Lady Bulldogs girls golf team competed in its second tournament of the season and gained valuable insight into their games with each and every stroke during the Ortonville, MN, Invitational Wednesday, April 20.
Kylie Kasuske had a solid showing finishing 13th overall with a final 18-hole round of 98. She was the lone Lady Bulldog to place in the top 36.
Alaina Rausch finished the day with a 121 while Mikaela Hoeke and Korinne Roggenbuck entered the clubhouse with a 141. Milbank finished 10th in the 11-team tournament with a team total of 501.
Lac Qui Parle Valley, MN, won the event with a 372. Minneota was second with a 380 while Ortonville took third at 385. Rounding out the team totals were Canby, 387; Morris, 402; Sisseton, 407; Montevideo, 415; Benson, 433; WCA, 485; Dawson-Boyd, 522. Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley did not field a complete team.
Milbank will host the POET Invitational Monday, April 25, at Pine Hills Golf Course. Players will tee off at 10 a.m.
