Tony Rudebusch

Tony Rudebusch, age 43 of Corona died May 7, 2016, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 10 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Mundwiler Funeral Home, Milbank. Rev. Dr. DeVern Schwenn will officiate and a private family burial will be held at a later date in the Ortley Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Honorary bearers will be Tony’s siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Tony Arnell Rudebusch was born March 19, 1973, in Oakland, CA. He was the son of Larry and Eileen (Hathaway) Rudebusch. Tony attended school in Watertown, SD and graduated from South Dakota State University with Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Tony’s family will remember his “free spirit” and his dream to “live off the land in Alaska.” He was always willing to help others. He was a prolific writer. He enjoyed family gatherings and adored his nieces and nephews. He loved the outdoors, especially animals and hunting. He was proud of the sailboat he was refurbishing. He enjoyed his motorcycle and the freedom he felt while riding it. He also enjoyed an occasional bull ride!

Left to cherish his memory are his parents: Larry (Judi) Rudebusch of Corona, SD; Eileen Rudebusch of Schofield, WI; sibilings: Tonya (Chris) Boykins of Schofield, WI; Eric Rudebusch of Wilmot, SD; Jennifer Bucklin of Watertown, SD and Robbie Bucklin of Sisseton, SD; paternal grandmother Ramona Rudebusch of Webster, SD; maternal grandmother, Jacqueline Hooker (Johnie Jackson) of Colorado Springs, CO; nine nieces and nephews.

Tony was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Rudebusch; great-grandpa and great-grandma Wiese; great-grandpa and great-grandma Rudebusch.
