Milbank High School senior Nolan Foss signed his letter of intent to join the men’s basketball program at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell beginning in the fall of 2016. As a member of the Tigers basketball team, he will compete in the NAIA Division II league, which is also a member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference.

Foss made his decision to join DWU after playing in the Pheasant Country All-Star basketball game in April. Logan Diede, an assistant coach at DWU, coached the Class A boys during the game where an interest was sparked. “I am very excited to continue to play and especially play for Coach Diede and head coach Matt Wilber,” Nolan expressed. “I am thankful for all the support I have received from my family and friends and look forward to meeting new people.”

Foss was a two year starter for the Milbank Area Bulldogs. He collected 81 points and 54 rebounds his junior year. He wrapped up his high school career averaging 9.7 points per game (203 points total) and 5.5 rebounds per game (116 total) his final season.
