Nearly a dozen youth from the Milbank area participated in a mini-camp which focused on the basic fundamentals of the game of basketball. Bulldog head boys basketball coach Matt Bastian and assistant boys basketball coach Ryan Scoular lead the group in learning proper shooting form, ball-handling, passing, footwork and team play.
“The goal of the camp was to help the boys better understand the proper techniques of playing the game as well as understand the rules,” noted Bastian. “We really enjoyed working with the group as they listened really well and had great enthusiasm and energy each day.”
The camp for athletes in grades five through eight will run next week, May 25-27, at Koch School.
