Eloise G. Lunning Snoozy was born on October 26, 1925, to Carl and Mabel DuBois Lunning in Centerville, South Dakota. She graduated from Centerville High School in 1943 and on March 15, 1944 she married Everette Snoozy. They had four children – Joyce, Wesley, Keith, and Kevin. They lived in Centerville where they farmed and in 1962 they purchased a ranch near South Shore.

Eloise loved life on the ranch. She enjoyed working with the cattle and feeding them and her time spent outdoors was treasured. She liked to feed the birds and loved flowers. Eloise was a fantastic cook and she loved to share that gift with her family. Most of all, Eloise was selfless and didn’t give herself the credit she so deserved.
