Grace Scheff, of Milbank, along with her children Julie and Duane, recently made a generous donation to American Legion Birch-Miller Post 9 in memory of husband and father, Robert Scheff.
The donation was given for the purchase of new honor guard uniforms and a gun safe to store the honor guard guns. “Because of Robert’s love and commitment to the American Legion and Post 9, Grace and her family wanted to do something they knew Robert would have been very proud to have been a part of,” stated Post Adjutant Tim Jurgens. “Birch-Miller Post 9 is very grateful for the family’s generous donation.”
