The Milbank youth tennis league wrapped up its seventh and final week of play. Champions were crowned in each division. Keaton Hagen earned the top spot in the red league. Marcos Basilio won the purple league. In the girls gold division, Paige Johnson was crowned the champion and her younger sister, Jenna, won the top spot in the blue league.
Scores from the seventh week and the final standings are:
Red League – Keaton Hagen defeated Alex Popowski, 10-6; Nathan Loutsch defeated Caden Ebsen by forfeit, and Nathan Loutsch defeated Angel Chen by forfeit.
Purple League – Will Karels shutout Lars Anderson, 10-0; Aiden Boerger defeated Will Karels, 10-2; Joe Harstad defeated Aiden Boerger by forfeit.
Gold League – Tatiana Stemsrud defeated Jamie DeVaal, 10-2; Paige Johnson downed Hallie Essington, 10-2; Sarah Jarman defeated Rhianna Welberg, 10-3; Jodi DeVaal defeated Rhianna Cantine by forfeit; and Sarah Jarman defeated Rhianna Cantine, 10-3.
Blue League – Bailey Frerichs defeated Shelby Lee 10-6.
