Community Scout Kick-Off and Registration Night

The Milbank Area Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will be holding their annual Scout Kick-Off and registration night Tuesday, August 30, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Pribyl Park.

All scouting programs will come together for family-fun evening with activities such as water bottle rockets, turtle races, yummy treats and more. Parents and youth can find out more about the scouting programs and register for the upcoming year. “This is for both new Scout sign-ups, as well as Scouts planning to return this next year,” explained Scoutmaster Jeff Loutsch.

Girl Scouts are for girls in grades kindergarten through 12. New this year, Cub Scouts will be for boys in kindergarten through the middle of fifth grade with Boys Scouts going from the middle of 5th grade through 12th grade. Cub Scouts previously began in 1st grade.
