2016-08-30_14.57.54Four golfers from the Bulldog boys golf team broke 100 during the Hub City Invitational Tuesday, August 30, in Aberdeen. Adam Thomas led the way finishing in 28th place with an 88. Conner VanVooren followed with a 91, placing 35th. Noah Pillatzki shot a 95 to take 39th place. Will Mischel performed a solid round for a 98 in the 47th position. Rounding out the individual scores for Milbank were Gage Sayler at 101 and Logan Meyer at 116.

Aberdeen Central’s Jonah Dohrer earned the medalist honors with a 73 after a three-hole playoff. He is the son of MHS graduates Chris and Barb (Tracy) Dohrer.

Milbank’s individual scores resulted in the team’s lowest score of the season. The Bulldogs took ninth place overall with a 372, more than 20 strokes less than it’s previous season low of 396.

Pierre won the team title with a 311. Aberdeen Central took second with a 319 and Aberdeen Roncalli came in third at 321. Finishing out the field were Watertown, 337; Huron, 341; Sisseton, 343; Mobridge-Pollock, 361; Aberdeen Central JV, 371; Groton, 375, and Redfield-Doland, 465.

Golfers placing at Hub City Invitational were: Adam Thomas, Noah Pillatzki, Logan Meyer, Conner VanVooren, Will Mischel, and Gage Sayler.
