Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in South Shore with Rev. Ken Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ortley Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank and will continue on Tuesday for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Tuesday.

Norma Helen Scheuring was born on October 24, 1945 in Webster, SD, to Clarence and Helen (Swanson) Richardt. She was raised on a farm outside of Ortley, SD, and attended school in Waubay where she graduated from high school.

On September 2, 1967, Norma was united in marriage with Kenneth Dale Scheuring in Waubay, SD. This union was blessed with five children and 41 years of marriage. Norma worked at State Auto & Insurance in Milbank for over 40 years until her retirement in 2007.

Norma was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in South Shore. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, and dancing. Most important to Norma was her family and she loved spending her time with her children and grandchildren.

Left to cherish Norma’s memory are her children: Deanna Johnsen (Mike Koehler) of Waupun, WI; Barbara Werner (Norm Larson) of Belle Plaine, MN; Elizabeth (Scott) Noeldner of Aberdeen, SD; and John (Crystal) Scheuring of Hutchinson, MN; thirteen grandchildren: Jodi, Dale, Amanda, Ashley, Jesse, Eric, Aaron, Megan, Gavin, Reese, Greyson, Courtney, and Grant; three great-grandchildren: Connor, Rylan, and Madelyn; sister-in-law, Carol Richardt; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth on December 21, 2008; daughter, Scarlet; brother, Jerry Richardt; and grandson, Micah.
