Toastmasters Gather For Regular Meeting

The Babbel-Ons Toastmasters Club met Thursday, September 15, in the State Auto cafeteria with Natalie Remund serving as the Toastmaster. One guest, Dana Junker, was present for the meeting.

The word of the day was “Kibosh” which means something that serves as a check or stop. The word was used five times during the meeting.
Kayla Pinkert was the speaker of the day. She presented her ice breaker speech which was entitled “The Story of a Girl”.

Kim Veen was the table topics master. Those participating in table topics were Dana Junker, Talia Athey, Karla Wellnitz and Kayla Pinkert.
The next meeting will be on Thursday, October 6, at noon. Anyone interested in learning more about the Toastmasters Club is encouraged to attend.
