toastmastersThe Babbel-Ons Toastmasters Club met Thursday, November 3, in the State Auto cafeteria with Jessica Roggenbuck serving as the Toastmaster.

The word of the day was “Mayhem” which means ‘Needless or willful damage’. The word was used five times during the meeting.
Speakers of the day were Kirk Simmons and Talia Athey. Simmons presented Project 7, “Is Technology Making People Less Sociable?” Athey presented project 6, “Builder or Wrecker.”

Roggenbuck was also the table topics master. Those participating in table topics were Talia Athey, Chelsy Baugh, Dana Junker and Karla Wellnitz.
The next meeting will be on Thursday, November 17, at noon.
