Mrs. Wiese’s third grade students at St. Lawrence School made eight fleece tie blankets to donate to Project Linus. Project Linus is a nonprofit organization that gives homemade blankets to children in the United States. The students held a snack sale at school and raised $147.50. The money was used to purchase the material for the blankets.
Members of the third grade class are: Kendra Roggenbuck, Allie Meyer, Ashlynn Batchelor, Marnie Van Lith, and Grace Olson. Back row: James Nelson, Jack Howard, Nathan Fonder, Garrett Weber, and Layten Osowski.
