Milbank Fire Department Announces Halloween Winners

The Milbank Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department hosted its annual Halloween Safety Stop on Halloween night. Parents and ghouls and boys enjoyed snacks, drinks, doors prizes, and contests.

Winners of the costume contest were: Ian Loehrer (vampire), scariest; Cam Stengel (John Deere tractor), most original; and Sophia Bass (Dorothy), cutest. Door prize winners were: Niah Pond and Brooklyn Bray, ages 0-3; Ryan Steffen and JadaLeigh Wellnitz, ages 4-7; and Qualon Grant and Jessel Stengel, ages 7 and up.

Coloring contest winners were also announced. Prizes were given for first through third place. Winners were:
Pre-kindergarten – Timbree Spors, 1st; Marley Pinkert, 2nd; Kendra Grong, 3rd.
Kindergarten – Cali Rose Weber, 1st; Sophia Schuchard, 2nd; Aria Prasnicki, 3rd.
First grade – Belle Pauli, 1st; Adison Pauli, 2nd; Miriam Chavez, 3rd.
Second grade – Kennedi Patnoe, 1st; Abe Patnoe, 2nd; Caitlyn Frerichs, 3rd.
Third grade – Charlotte Street, 1st; Esteban Abrego, 2nd; Paige Korstjens, 3rd.
Fourth grade – Brooke O’Farrell, 1st; Joseph French, 2nd; Siera, 3rd.
Fifth grade – Isaac Cordell, 1st; Aubrey Fraasch, 2nd; James Batchelor, 3rd.
