The 2016 Grant County Combined Appeal campaign has hit its midway mark. It has raised half the money needed, but only half the time... Combined Appeal Needs 43% More to Reach Goal

_dsc0001-38The 2016 Grant County Combined Appeal campaign has hit its midway mark. It has raised half the money needed, but only half the time remains to reach the goal.

According to Craig Wellnitz of the Milbank Community Foundation, Combined Appeal has raised 57% of its goal of $170,000. “The Pacesetter campaigns are on their final push to complete their internal campaigns. We also urge small businesses and individual donors that have not participated to help our 17 local agencies.” The agencies have applied for assistance in health and human services, education, or youth development in Grant County. Wellnitz stated, “As we say in our campaign, ‘People Helping People! Lives change when a community cares……Lives change when you care!'”

“The campaign runs through the end of November,” stated Kerry Fish, drive coordinator. “We may be a little behind on dollars received, but things always seem to work out in the end.”

Contact Wellnitz at his office at Unity Square or Fish at the Valley Queen Cheese Store to donate to the campaign.
