_dsc0015-6Let down your hair this Friday during the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of Rapunzel. Follow Rapunzel as she escapes the tower and heads out on the run with her zany cast of friends and foes. With a French flair and a pinch of personal triumph, this original musical adaptation of Rapunzel is fun for all ages.

Two shows will be presented Friday, December 2, at the Milbank High School theatre. Shows begin at 1:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students.

Playing the title character of Rapunzel, are Peyten Wiese as the Tower Rapunzel and Jessica Pillatzki as the Room Rapunzel. David Martinez and Connor Bender will act as the Prince and Rhianna Folk will play Madame Gothel.

Raul Berrones and Hope Karels will portray Rapunzel’s parents – Maurice and Monique. Emma DeBoer, Annalisia Quintana, Leah Mogard, Shelby Lee, Maci Priebe, Autumn Fox, Kaylee Reil, Victoria Nelson, and Mia Van Lith will be the Wood Elves. Jayden Johnson will play the Troll.

Ian Liebe and Calvin Weinberg have been cast as the Ears of Corn and Sammy Femling will play the Potato. Jasmine Tietjen and Paige Korstjens will be the Unicorns. Veronica Fonder, Gemma Street, Ashley Van Hoorn, Jacey Dexter, and Kendra Roggenbuck will play the Pixies. Rylen Frerichs, Rylee Scoular, Oliver Korth, Chloe Priebe, and Ashlynn Batchelor have been cast as the Gremlins.

Filling the role of the Billy Goats Gruff are Ivy Lewno, Madi May, and Jenna Dexter. The Three Bears and Beaver are Cailey Sime, Piper Grear, Aubrey Fraasch, and Kaitlyn Huber. Nicholas Fonder, Brooke Schwagel, Maggie Kruger, and Katie Kruger will play the Ogres. Appearing as the Mushrooms are: Jenna Korstjens, Preston Laskowske, Jayden Korstjens, Bree Townsend, Zayda Townsend, Riley Owen, Kye Scoular, Jemma Frerichs, Brynlee Schmieg, Heyden Montag, Tayla Trapp, Caitlyn Frerichs, Andrew Karels, Keaton Johnson, Adrian Korth, and Fisher Ruhr.
