_dsc0014-4Kendall Van Peursem of Milbank was named the grand prize winner in the Grant County Fraternal Order of Police raffle. He was the lucky winner of a 2016 Polaris Sportsman 450 four-wheeler.

“We sold all 500 tickets,” said Police Chief Boyd VanVooren. “We thank everyone who bought a ticket and the entire community for supporting the FOP.”

Todd Forman was the second prize winner. He selected the Remington Versa Max 12-gauge shotgun while while Keeran O’Farrell was the winner of a Stack-On Wilderness 60-gun safe.

100% of the funds raised through this annual raffle stays within Grant County. The Grant County FOP sponsors various activities such as Christmas with a Cop, the Milbank High School scholarship fund, the Christmas hay ride, and DARE events at both St. Lawrence School and Koch School.

Some of the local organizations the Grant County FOP supports are the Grant County Food Pantry, Hurley Winter Park, and the Milbank Ball Diamond Association.
