Junior Busy Bees Collect Items For Emergency Relief Kits

The Junior Busy Bees 4-H Club in Grant County is sponsoring a Christmas Tree in the Grant County Courthouse during the Festival of Trees. The project is also part of Allison Grear’s Girl Scout Gold Award project.
The theme for the tree is Characters For A Cause and the club is collecting personal care items to put in emergency relief kits to be donated to Interlakes Community Action, Inc. According Junior Busy Bees 4-H Club leader, Susan Karels, the club needs help obtaining the necessities the kits.
She said, “Please put any of the requested items in the boxes under our tree in the courthouse.” Items requested include: deodorant (male or female), toothbrushes, toothpaste, band-aids, rubbing alcohol, antibiotic ointment, ibuprofen, eye drops, tissues, wet wipes, boxes of soap, matches, AA batteries, paper towels, toilet tissue, and bottles of water.
