Milbank High School senior Taylor Balling earned a superior rating at the 2016 State Oral Interpretation Tournament in Harrisburg December 2, and December 3. She performed the poem Heaven or Whatever.
Also participating at State were Ben Harstad and Caitlin Kroemer. Harstad performed his humorous selection, The Boys of IHOP and Kroemer presented a storytelling piece entitled Persephone Marries Her Stalker. The MHS students were accompanied and coached by Laura Maag.
Milbank competed against 55 Class A school teams.
