St. Lawrence To Present Christmas Program Wednesday

St. Lawrence School will present its annual Christmas program Wednesday, December 14. The students will perform two shows in the St. Lawrence gym in Milbank. One begins at 1:30 p.m. and the other at 7 p.m.

According to director Elizabeth Schulte, “The students have worked on musical skills such as keeping a steady beat, counting and reading rhythms, reading notes while playing recorders and chimes, and singing in parts.” “Our songs were chosen to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and to inspire us to worship Christ, the Savior who was was born for us. We invite the community to attend.”

The production will the the first for Schulte who began her duties as music teacher last fall.
