Janine Fonder of Milbank was the grand prize winner of St. Lawrence School’s first semester raffle. She and her husband, Bill, and their nine children are now the proud owners of the Ice Castle Perch Palace Jr., Big Stone edition 6.5 x 14v fish house The ice house has a $13,995 value.
“We were so surprised,” Janine said. “I only bought two tickets. So, this is amazing!” Only 500 tickets were sold. Money raised will be used to enhance technology at St. Lawrence School.
The winners were announced during the school’s Christmas program Wednesday, December 14. Roger Briggs won second prize – a Honda EU2000i generator – valued at $1,000. Steve Rehorst took home third prize -an Ion ice auger valued at $500.
Over 20 gift cards from local businesses were also given away. The winners were:
