Hurley Winter Park has been re-flooded and is ready to go for the second annual Rink In The New Year event slated for Saturday, December 31, from 2-4 p.m.

The community is invited to enjoy free skating and refreshments during the fun-filled family event. Children and adults will have fun skating with Frosty The Snowman, and can also enjoy hot chocolate, popcorn and treats for sale at Tommy’s Popcorn stand.

“Over 90 pair of skates are available for use,” noted Katie Heller, committee member for Hurley Winter Park. “Come out and enjoy this fun family event.”

Normal rink hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Skates are available for use for a free will donation. Donations will be used to purchase and update the skates.
