Calling all builders! Registration is now open for the Lego Contest on Saturday, January 14, during the Grant County Farm and Home Show. The contest is open to participants age four and up.

The Lego event takes place at noon at the Milbank High School lunchroom. Check-in is 11:30 a.m. Pre-registration is required. The deadline to register is Friday, January 6. Forms must be returned to the Grant County Extension Office in the courthouse.

Participants must bring their own LEGO bricks and a base on which to build their entry. Contestants will be given a maximum of 30 minutes to assemble their LEGO project. No bricks can be put together prior to the start of the contest. Table space will be provided. Judging will be based on creativity of the project, ability to answer questions, completing the project within the time allowed, and providing the necessary supplies.

If a participant has moved to a different age category, they are eligible to win any place. The awards presentation begins at 1:30 p.m.
