The Grant County Public Library is hosting a pop-up exhibition from the National Archives – The Bill of Rights and You. The display commemorates the 225th anniversary of the ratification of this landmark document. The exhibit will run through February 28.

The Bill of Rights and You spotlights one of the most remarkable periods in American history, explores the origins of the first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution (collectively known as the Bill Of Rights), illustrates how each amendment protects U.S. citizens, and looks at how Americans exercise the rights outlined in the amendments.

Along with the Bill of Rights exhibit, you will find resources for further study. Patrons can also pick up a puzzle, complete it, and return it to the library by February 28 for a prize. This exhibit is brought to the library in collaboration with the South Dakota Humanities Council and the Federation of State Humanities Councils.
