Lego Contest Winners Named

Nineteen creations were entered in the 2017 Farm and Home Show Lego contest on January 14. Harley Davis won the People’s Choice Award.
Samuel Biggs took first place in the 4-6 year-olds group; Bryton Blauert was second. Kennedi Sayler secured the top spot for 7-8-year-olds; Hosea Johnson was second. In the 9-10 age group, Kynslee Johnson took first; Devon Mueller was second. Gerald Tschetter won first place in the 11 and older category; Kirby Tschetter placed second.

Lego prizes were donated by the Grant County 4-H Leaders Association. Ol’ Mill Bucks were donated by the Grant County 4-H Leaders Association and the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce. All contestants and judges were treated to a ice cream from the Grant County 4-H Junior Leaders and a Hardee’s sandwich coupon from Hardee’s in Milbank. The People’s Choice Award was sponsored by Paula Wieting and Learning Time Preschool.
