Robert Allen Fischer

Robert Allen Fischer, 53, of Murdock, MN died on January 17, 2017 in a car accident. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21, at 11:00 a.m. at Abiding Faith Lutheran Church in Ortonville.

Bob was born on March 25, 1963, in Elgin, IL to Kenneth and Sally (Bergland) Fischer. In 1989, Bob and his family moved to Marlton, NJ, where he worked for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange for over a decade. He then moved back to Murdock, MN to be close to family and join his father in the family business, Fischer Decorating.

Bob loved to fish, attend concerts, play cards, work on home projects with his dad, travel, and road trips. More than anything, he loved to spend time with his family, specifically his daughters, Suzie and Sarah and grandchildren, Greyson and Everly.

Left with loving memories are his daughter, Suzie Imbriaco and her husband, Joe and their children, Greyson and Everly of Hampden, ME, and daughter, Sarah Fischer of Louisville, KY; parents, Kenneth and Sally Fischer of Big Stone City, SD; companion, Rose Oswald of Murdock, MN; siblings Ken Fischer, Jr. of Kerkhoven, MN; Kellie Fischer and her husband, Keith Johnson of Denver, CO; and Steve and his wife, Jenna Fischer of New London, MN along with seven nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his grandparents: Edgar and Marion Fischer and Rollie and Edna Bergland.
