It Only Takes A Spark Cancer Walk Cookbooks Honor 20th Anniversary

It Only Takes A Spark Cancer Walk and its teams have published a cookbook to commemorate their 20th anniversary walk, which will take place June 9-10 at Lake Farley Park in Milbank.

Cancer walk core committee members announce the arrival of its new, one-of-a-kind cookbook, titled “Put A Spark In Your Cooking.” Profits will benefit cancer patients in the greater Grant County area.

“Cancer walk teams, friends and family have complied their tastiest tried-and-true recipes into a single book that will be treasured for generations to come,” stated core committee member Ann Tuchscherer. “This mouth-watering cookbook contains 450 recipes – everything you need from appetizers to desserts.” She also noted that each recipe includes the contributor’s name. “So it’s easy to find the recipes from friends and loved ones.”

A brief history of the cancer walk along with past photos from the walk are an added feature to the cookbook. The book is dedicated to all those who have been affected by cancer and everyone who has supported the cancer walk in Grant County for the past 20 years.

The cookbooks may be purchased from any cancer walk team member or core committee member for the cost of $12.

It Only Takes A Spark Cancer Walk is a non-profit organization that is committed to helping with the financial and medical needs of those affected by cancer in the greater Grant County area.
