Toastmasters Club Meets At State Auto

The Babbel-Ons Toastmasters Club met Thursday, January 19, in the State Auto cafeteria with Natalie Remund serving as the Toastmaster.
The word of the day was “haberdasher” which means ‘a dealer in notions (such as needles, thread, buttons, etc).’ The word “haperdasher” was used one time during the meeting.

Speaker of the day was Dave Schaack. He presented Project 2, Appraise with Praise with a speech entitled, “You Really Want Me To Do That?”
Jessica Roggenbuck was the table topics master. Those participating in table topics were Dana Junker and Ashley Frerichs.

The next meeting of the club will take place Thursday, February 2, at noon in the State Auto cafeteria.
