Nominations Being Accepted For Teacher Of The Year

Do you know a teacher who is dedicated, inspiring and is making a difference? Now is the time to give them the recognition they deserve – nominate that special teacher for the 2016-2017 Milbank School District Teacher of the Year Award.

“Giving recognition to our wonderful teachers is so important,” stated Superintendent Tim Graf. “Please give consideration to completing this nomination for that special one that has played a big part in your son or daughters schooling.”

Things to consider when making your nomination include the teacher’s methods for meeting student needs, rapport with students, parents and other staff, desire for professional growth, community involvement, dedication to the profession, treating students, parents and staff with respect and preparing and challenging students to succeed in future challenges.

Once the Milbank Teacher of the Year is selected, they become eligible for the ESA and statewide Teacher of the Year award.
