Janine Ringdahl, age 62 of River Falls, Wisconsin died January 28, 2017, at her residence. She was born and raised on her family farm near Graceville.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 4, at 2:00 p.m. at Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home in Graceville. Rev. Richard Larson will officiate and burial will be in Siloah Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday at noon at the funeral home and continue until the time of the service.
Honorary bearers will be Janine’s sons: David Ringdahl and Christopher Ringdahl.
Janine Marie (Ward) Ringdahl was born April 28, 1954, in Graceville, MN. She was the daughter of Gerald and Clarice (Dehlin) Ward. Janine grew up in Graceville and graduated from Graceville High School. Janine was united in marriage with Mark Ringdahl on September 30, 1972. Their marriage was blessed with two sons: David and Christopher.
Janine raised her sons in Chanhassen, MN, living there until 1998. Janine lived in Chaska, MN until 2009 and then she lived in Aitkin, MN until 2015 when she moved to River Falls, WI to be near her son and his family.
Janine was a caregiver and devoted mother. She was a proud mother and adored her granddaughter, Lily. She worked a few years at Target and cherished friendships that were made there. Janine enjoyed quilting and sewing. She was talented when it came to decorating and she loved crafts. She always enjoyed a fun day of shopping and she was a member of Ezekiel Lutheran Church in River Falls.
Janine Ringdahl is survived by her sons: David (Brooke) Ringdahl of River Falls, WI and Christopher Ringdahl of Garrison, MN; one granddaughter, Lily Ringdahl of River Falls, WI; two brothers: Bob (Darlene) Ward of Graceville, MN and David Ward of Hankinson, ND; sister-in-law, June Ward of Brooklyn Center MN; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Clarice; and her brother, Glen Ward.
