St. Lawrence School in Milbank celebrated Catholic Schools Week with meaningful activities. “It is good to celebrate who we are and what we do,” said Brenda Anderson, school principal. “We had a very fun week.”

The students enjoyed dressing up in different themes each day, along with learning various Bible stories to teach the basic topics within the SonForce Kids theme. Emphasized lessons included Trust in God, Unite With God, Train to Serve, Follow God and Lead Others to Faith in God.
Dress up days included color code day, disguise day, wacky wild Wednesday, secret agent day and spirit day. Other big activities included a BBQ and hotdog feed with Bingo, Soup Day for grandparents and community members, secret agent themed center activities, a school-wide open house and a movie.
