Twenty students from the seventh and eighth grade Milbank Middle School choirs participated in the Festival for Young Voices in Brookings on March 6. Students joined area schools under guest director Robyn Starks Holcomb from Sioux Falls Roosevelt High School. The 200-plus voice choir presented a grand concert at the Performing Arts Center on the campus of South Dakota State University.
Representing Milbank were: Back row- Nick Batchelor, Bennett Schwenn, Sawyer Seehafer, Drake Rogers, William Karels, Logan Meyer, Eric Van Sambeek, and Isaac Sousa. Middle row- Hailey Hupke, Jenna Johnson, Jessica Van Peursem, Emma DeBoer, Maci Priebe, and Shelby Lee. Front row- Leah Mogard, Erika Fonder, Peyten Wiese, Madi Thue, Lindsey Mertens, and Dani Yamaura.
