Toastmasters Club Celebrates 20th Anniversary

The Babbel-ons Toastmasters Club is celebrating the 20-year anniversary of its parent organization. Local members are: (l. to r.) Toastmasters International (TI) is a nonprofit educational organization with thousands of clubs worldwide. Members improve their communication, public speaking and leadership skills. The organization has more than 345,000 members in 142 countries.

The Babbel-ons in Milbank meet on the first and third Thursday of every month on the second floor of the State Auto Insurance building. “If you are interested in becoming a better public speaker, we would love to hear from you,” says VP of Public Relations, Jessica Roggenbuck. “Please contact Kirk Simmons at kirk.simmons@montagefs.com if you would like to join.” The next meeting is Thursday, April 6, at noon in the State Auto Cafeteria.
