Ryan Peters

Ryan Duane Peters, age 33, of Wilmot died March 26, 2017, at Avera McKenna Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 31, at 2:00 p.m. at Mundwiler Funeral Home of Milbank. Visitation will be at Mundwiler Funeral Home one hour prior to the service on Friday. Rev. Dr. DeVern Schwenn will officiate.

Jennifer Fryer will be eulogist.

Honorary bearers will be: Garrett Williams, John Peters , Cody Ammann, Darren Argo, Chris Kvatum, and Steve Dierking.

Ryan Duane Peters, son of Duane and Cynthia (Wronski) Peters of Wilmot put up a gallant battle with cancer. The Good Lord decided that Ryan, age 33, had fought his illness long enough on March 26th.

He will fondly be remembered for his big happy smile and always ready to help someone in need. He shared everything he had with anybody that had a need. Ryan enjoyed all things dealing with the outdoors, such as trapping, fishing, and hunting. Ryan was very good at running farm equipment and especially the Patriot Sprayer and combine. He did some planting for anybody that needed some help. Ryan attended Wilmot Public School.

Ryan is survived by his parents Duane and Cynthia; his son, Matthew Peters of Watertown, SD; brother, Terry “TJ” (Sandy) Willliams of Watertown, SD; three sisters; Jenny (Wayne) Fryer of McHenry, IL, Jami William of Watertown, SD, and Julie (Ryan) Holt of Watertown, SD; nephews; Garrett, Dylan, Dawson, and nieces; Abrial, Kaylee, Madison, and Emmalee.

Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, a sister, Laura; uncle, Marlo Peters; and aunt, Rita LaDuke; and cousins: Wayne LaDuke, Jr., and Angie Hegele.
