Seventh grade students from Milbank Middle School attended Camp Med on March 30. The event was sponsored by the Northeast South Dakota Area Health Education Center.
“We have brought this event to our school the past couple of years,” said Milbank Middle School Principal Kris Evje. “It gives our students exposure to careers in the healthcare profession such as doctors, dentists, veterinarians, and labs” Students rotated through stations including: reading x-rays, veterinary pet care, physical therapy, CPR, and medical food practices.
