Bulldog Tennis Team Starts Season

The Milbank Bulldog boys tennis team will feature new faces in their opening match Thursday, April 4 in Pipestone, Minnesota. “We are a very young team this year,” says head coach Jim Dahl. “Our goal will be to improve steadily and learn the strategies of the game.
David Basilio Sr. and Jose Chen, both seniors and letter-winners, will lead the team. Other returning letter-winners are Connor VanVooren and Ethan Bohn.
Players vying for a varsity position include: juniors Caden Ebsen, Moritz Wortmann, and Alex Popowski; sophomores Keaton Hagen and Nathan Loutsch; and freshmen Marcos Basilio and Joe Harstad.
Coach Dahl enters his 14th season as the head coach. He is assisted by Steve Stemsrud. Tatiana Stemsrud serves as manager/statistician.
