Elvira Anderson, 80, died at Fairway View Communities on April 3, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 8, at First English Lutheran Church, beginning at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Tonn officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Clinton City Cemetery.

Elvira Emma Anderson was born on February 11, 1937, in Ortonville, Minnesota to Jake and Blandina (Dunse) Lee. Following her high school graduation she began working at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, where she was employed for 17 years. On May 13, 1972, she was united in marriage with Delhart Anderson, at which time she moved to rural Chokio and became a very active farm wife. In 2009 she returned to Ortonville.

Elvira was a long time member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Clinton, and after the church closed she joined as a member of First English Lutheran Church, where she participated in Ladies Aid. In her free time, she enjoyed cards, dice, board games, flowers, and gardening. She especially loved visiting with family and friends.

Elvira is survived by her brother, Arthur Lee of Ortonville; brother-in-law, Norman (Mary) Anderson of Milbank, SD; sisters-in-law Joyce Gillespie, Jane Gillespie, Susan Wohlers, Bonnie (Tom) Connelly, Connie Anderson, Wilma Anderson, and Barb Anderson; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

Elvira was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delhart on September 23, 2016; siblings: Kenneth Lee, Marylou Lee Behagg, Lyle Lee, and Kathryn Lee Green.
