Hairy Horse Fun Show Sunday

The Grant County 4-H Horse Project will host a Hairy Horse Fun Show Sunday, May 7, at the Grant County 4-H Grounds in Milbank. Registration begins at 11 a.m. The show starts at noon. No registrations will be accepted once the show begins.

Classes include: beginner, junior, and senior Showmanship, Horsemanship, Western Pleasure, Ranch Riding, Trail, English Equitation, Hat Race, Keyhole, Poles, Flag, and Barrels. Beginners are ages 8-10. Juniors are ages 11-13 and seniors are age 14 and over. Age is determined by January 1, 2017. The cost is $3 per class. South Dakota 4-H Rules apply.

A limited concession stand will be available. Door prizes will be given. A horse safety training will also be conducted for all 4-H youth.
