Seven fifth-graders from Koch Elementary School received the President’s Award For Educational Excellence at the conclusion of the D.A.R.E. program on May 10. To receive the award, students must maintain a 3.5 or higher grade point average and have advanced placement scores from their fourth grade Smarter Balance tests. Principal Amy Brandriet presented the awards.
