Q-Fest Cooks Needed

Calling all cooks for the annual Lake Farley Summer Event Series Q-Fest on Saturday, June 24. Q-Fest features three categories of meat – ribs, brisket, and chicken. The meat is provided by the Chamber. “Enter one category or up to all three,” stated Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce Event Director Laura Kelly. “To be eligible for the grand champion prize, cooks must enter all three categories.”

The deadline to register is Friday, June 2. “A meeting will be held Friday, June 23, to go over the rules and for cooks to receive their meat,” said Kelly. The cost to enter is $45. Cash prizes and trophies will be given away.
