The 63-member Milbank Area Lions Swim Team starts its season with its only home meet Friday and Saturday, May 26 and 27, at Unity Square. The meet begins at 6:45 p.m. Friday. It continues Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
MALST Head Coach Jodi Street is in her second year with the Sealions. She said, “I’m excited to get started. I have taken additional coaching courses and learned different dryland exercises and drills to implement at practice. We have high goals for this season.” According to Assistant Coach Aarron Schuelke, one of the team’s goals is to get as many swimmers to attend the Seasonal Championship meet at the end of the season.
