Youth Compete in Unity Square Triathlon

Nine youth took part in the Second Annual Unity Square Kids Triathlon on May 25. The event consisted of a 100-yard swim, a 1.8 mile bike ride, and an 800-meter run. Unity Square sponsored the event and the Milbank Kiwanis Club assisted.

Earning first place awards were: Lucas Johnson (8 years old), Rylee Scoular (10 years old), Calvin Weinberg (10 years old), Laura Johnson (11 years old), Isaac Johnson (13 years old), and Desiree O’Farrell (14 years old).

Finishing second were Max Scoular (7 years old) and Hope Karels (11 years old). Placing third was Ian Loehrer (7 years old).
