Jacqueline “Jackie” Angerhofer, age 75, of Milbank died July 23, 2017, at Milbank Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Milbank. Rev. Nathan Neugebauer will officiate. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service and burial will be at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be: Derek Rodengen, Milo Wellnitz, Ed Steinlicht, Dustin Steinlicht, Alex Elmore, and Bill Wellnitz. Honorary bearers will be: Jackie’s nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Jacqueline “Jackie” Mary Angerhofer was born on May 19, 1942, to John and Ursula (Strain) Flack in Milbank, SD. Jackie lived in Milbank most of her life. She was an avid reader and a dedicated Elvis fan.
Jackie lived in California for a short time before returning to Milbank. She was united in marriage with Harvey Angerhofer on January 7, 1964, and together they started a family.
Jackie moved to Sioux Falls from 1993 until 2003, living with her daughter and grandchildren. She then moved back to Milbank where she remained until her death.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Shelly Rodengen of Marshall, MN; siblings: Greg (Diane) Flack of Pueblo West, CO; Ursie Wittrock of Sioux Falls, SD; and Don Purinton of West Virginia; grandchildren: Nikki (Chris) Christensen of Watertown, SD; Derek (Tiffany) Rodengen of Milbank, SD; Aaron (Amanda) Rodengen of Summit, SD; five great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, and nephews; and all her honorary children.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; parents: John and Ursula Flack; sisters: Jill and Toni, and one great-grandchild, Jaxon.
