Nearly 50 people attended the first Milbank High School all-class reunion Saturday, July 22, at Pribyl Park in Milbank. Classes represented included: 1950, 1954, 1956, 1961, 1972, 1985 to 1989, and 1992. Jim Johansen from the Class of 1950 won the honor of most senior attendee.
Organizer Stacey Nelson (’87) says, “Future plans are uncertain, but maybe an anchor class could take the lead for the next event. It would be nice to keep this going. If a class cannot step up and take the reins, maybe the Chamber of Commerce will feature it as an event every five or ten years.”
