Christian Service Council to Hold Food Giveaway

The Grant County Christian Service Council is partnering with Feeding South Dakota for a food giveaway on Wednesday, August 16. The event runs from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Exhibit Building at the Grant County 4-H Fairgrounds. “This food giveaway is for families in the Milbank area in need of food,” says organizer LeAnn Kuper. The food giveaway in June distributed nearly 12,000 pounds of food to 200 guests.

Volunteers are needed to set up and distribute the food. Donations of two dozen cookies are also requested. To volunteer, contact LeAnn Kuper at 605-949-0617 or Brenda Maass at 605-880-7176.
