Marc Wilde

Marc Jeffrey Wilde of Chaska, MN, age 32, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at the W.A. Wedum Residential Hospice Center in Brooklyn Park, MN.

Services for Marc will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church, Ortonville, MN, on Friday, August 25, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Services will be officiated by Fr. Brian Ostereich. Burial will be in the Mound Cemetery, Ortonville, MN.

Marc was born on October 1, 1984, in Waconia, MN, to Jeffrey and Darlene Wilde.

Marc graduated from Chaska High School in 2003, and from Universal Technical Institute in Houston, TX in 2004, as a Certified Auto Body Collision and Repair Technician.

He worked for several years in Mankato and Houston doing auto body repair work. He was employed by O’Reilly Auto Parts of Chanhassen for the past 5 years.

Marc enjoyed helping his friends, family and neighbors with their cars, playing Texas Hold’em, going to the shooting range, watching movies, building computers, online gaming, rock climbing, collecting watches, and playing paintball.

Marc is survived by his parents: Jeff and Darlene; brother, Scott Wilde of Seattle, WA; grandparents: Conrad Paul & LaVonne Schuelke of Ortonville, MN; aunts and uncles: Kerry & Carol Wilde of Gig Harbor, WA; Judy & Howard Bronson of Richmond, VA; Darrell Schuelke & Tamar Schaefer of Broken Bow, NE; Paulette & Jim Anderson of Milan, MN; Jerome Schuelke and Dean Schuelke of Milbank, SD; cousins: Christopher Doney of Shakopee, MN; Nicole & Ryan Meints of Big Lake, MN; Kristie & Tom Osmond, Sara Schuelke and Nicholas Schuelke, all of Nebraska; Isaac Anderson of St. Cloud, MN; Peter & Andra Anderson of Alexandria, MN; Tristan Anderson of Zimmerman, MN; Paul Wilde, Paige Wilde, Patti Wilde, and Mike & Janet Wilde of Washington; Karl & Neets Wilde, Curt Wilde, and Barb Wilde of Hot Springs, SD; Randy & Juanita Wilde, David & Sandy Bronson of Virginia; Curtis & Linda Bronson of North Carolina; Stuart Bronson and Beth Bissonette of New Hampshire; and Matt & Amanda Wilde of Idaho.

Marc was preceded in death by his grandparents: Donald & Olivia Wilde; his uncle and aunt: Duane & Jeanne Wilde.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to a charity of your choice or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
