Makenzie Wittrock and Courtney Kroemer of Milbank bowled their way to first place in their division and won a gold medal during the State Special Olympics bowling tournament in Aberdeen on November 3.
Devin Pollock, Briar Zuraff, and Jacob O’Donnell earned second place finishes and took home silver medals. Chris Stodolski finished in sixth place in his division and Trevor Lacek placed seventh. Mariah Pillatzki and Daviel Van Dover finished in eighth place. Draigh Breland was unable to attend the tournament.
The athletes will also be recognized during their annual awards banquet on November 16.
