Milbank Healthcare Campus to Host Holiday Magic

You know Dasher and Dancer. But have you met Teeka and Bergen? Santa Claus and his live reindeer take a break from the North Pole to attend the Holiday Magic event at the Milbank Area Hospital Avera on Sunday, December 17, from 1-4 p.m.

The Milbank Avera Hospital and Avera Medical Group Milbank host their first Holiday Magic event. Everyone is invited.
“This is a free and fun holiday event for all ages,” said one of the organizers Susie Wendland. “Children will get the chance to meet Santa Claus, give him their wish lists, and meet real live reindeer, Teeka and Bergen.”

After you mingle with Santa and his reindeer buddies, you’ll also find family-friendly surprises inside. Katie VanderWal, 2018 Miss Milbank, and Little Miss Marley Pinkert will greet you and treat you to candy canes. Plus, join in making magical reindeer food, creating art, and snapping photos at the festive photo booth. Feel free to bring your camera, too.

“We want this to be a truly magical and festive afternoon,” said Wendland. “What could be more magical than meeting real reindeer!”
