Younger Students From MHS Explore Future Careers

Milbank High School Career Day was held Wednesday, February 21. Traditionally for juniors and seniors, this year, freshman and sophomore students were given the opportunity to explore a variety of career paths. Local businesses showcased their industry and explained the skills, qualifications, and aptitudes needed for successful careers in that field.
“We have discovered that by the students’ junior and senior years, they already had a pretty good idea of what they wanted to do and where their future was going to take them,” said MHS Principal Dan Snaza. “So, we felt this event was more valuable for our younger freshmen and sophomore students.” The event is sponsored by the Grant County Development Corporation and the Milbank School District.
