Ash Named to All-Northeast Conference Team

MHS senior Jonny Ash was named to the All-Northeast Conference high school basketball second team for the 2017-2018 season. Ash, a 6-foot guard, was a three-year starter for the Bulldogs and a team leader for four seasons at MHS. He is the son of Kristen Pearson-Ash and Craig Ash.

First team honorees in the NEC included: Jacob Prouty, Clark-Willow Lake; Dion Iyarpeya, Sisseton; Gus Reede, Aberdeen Roncalli; Preston Homan, Deuel; and Benji Thompson, Sisseton. Second team players, in addition to Ash, are: John Roe, Hamlin; Bradyn Rusher, Clark-Willow Lake; Kyler Meyer, Britton-Hecla, and Brady Morgan, Roncalli.
